This was a beneficial course in understanding what is required to prevent fires from spreading through the perimeter of the building. I would have liked to learn more about ASTM 2874.Jacob C.

Excellent course with an excellent presentation. I refused to seal a set of documents for these same issues when performing perimeter wall renovation work for a 17-story university building. I informed the State Fire Marshal as per my state's requirements, but somehow our documents were used with/out the proper fire safing at the floor and perimeter curtainwall. I have informed other officals, but the purchase of the building in question was a political issue, I was subsequently banned from doing any further work with this institution. The politics of owners and contractor design/build projects where the professionals are not allowed to participate in any of the construction administration, is a major flaw in being able to protect the public.David H.
