Outstanding Course. Correctly a lot of myths of convenience out there.

Good overview, but the topic is more complex than can be fully comprehended in one session without an indepth prior understanding of the testing requirements referenced.

Very clear and concise review of pfc systems and overview of historical examples of fire spread and containment. Very valuable in understanding the different ASTM and NFPA tests

Excellent course with an excellent presentation. I refused to seal a set of documents for these same issues when performing perimeter wall renovation work for a 17-story university building. I informed the State Fire Marshal as per my state's requirements, but somehow our documents were used with/out the proper fire safing at the floor and perimeter curtainwall. I have informed other officals, but the purchase of the building in question was a political issue, I was subsequently banned from doing any further work with this institution. The politics of owners and contractor design/build projects where the professionals are not allowed to participate in any of the construction administration, is a major flaw in being able to protect the public.
